Cyber security & Cyber Essentials

Protection against the attacks that actually happen.

Most attacks on small businesses start with an email or a stolen password. We put sensible protection in place across your devices, email and accounts, keep it up to date, and help you get Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certified.

Leave your details and we’ll call you back about securing your business or getting certified.

    What we do

Layers of protection, looked after for you.

    Endpoint protection

Antivirus for Windows and Mac that watches running processes and stops malware before it spreads.

    Mobile security

Phones and tablets protected, with compliance and privacy controls for business data.

    Email protection

Microsoft 365 Defender policies to filter phishing, malicious links and dangerous attachments.

    Secure sign-in

Multi-factor sign-in and passkeys, so a stolen password isn’t enough to get in.

    Email authentication

SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up correctly, so nobody can easily send email pretending to be you.

    A way back

If the worst happens, cloud backup means a clean copy of your data to restore from.

    Cyber Essentials

Get Cyber Essentials certified, with help at every step.

Cyber Essentials is the UK government-backed scheme that shows customers and suppliers you’ve got the basics of cyber security covered. It’s increasingly asked for in contracts and tenders. We get your systems up to standard and guide you through certification.

    Cyber Essentials

A self-assessment questionnaire, checked by an independent assessor and signed off by a director. We make sure your systems meet the requirements first, then work through the questions with you.

    • Self-assessment – reviewed by a qualified assessor
    • Renewed – every year

    Cyber Essentials Plus

The same requirements, plus a hands-on technical audit by an assessor to check the controls are really in place: external vulnerability scans and tests on a sample of your computers, servers and phones.

    • Technical audit – malware protection, admin accounts and MFA checked
    • Timing – completed within three months of your Cyber Essentials certificate

    What the assessment checks

    The five technical controls.

Every business is assessed against the same five controls. We check where you stand against each one and fix the gaps.

    • Firewalls – protecting your internet connection and devices
    • Secure configuration – removing default passwords and unnecessary software
    • Security update management – keeping operating systems, apps and router firmware patched
    • User access control – the right access for each person, and separate admin accounts
    • Malware protection – protection against viruses and ransomware on every device

The rules got stricter in April 2026. Multi-factor authentication must now be switched on for every cloud service that offers it, and high-risk or critical updates must be installed within 14 days. Miss either and it’s an automatic fail.
